Dress To Impress Upcoming Updates in 2025 — Seasonal Chests Are Coming!
If you’ve been hanging out in the Dress to Impress Discord lately, you already know that the team has been listening—and wow, did we speak up! We’ve been collectively shouting our concerns from the rooftops (“we want to keep our seasonal items!” and “the lag is real!”), and the developers have been hard at work turning those suggestions into solutions. Today, I get to spill the tea on their brand-new plan.
Spoiler alert: it’s so good, it might even make me clear out my own cluttered closet at home (nah, that’s not happening).
New Changes in DTI
You will see following changes in Upcoming days for your favorite game Dress To Impress (DTI):
1. No More Seasonal Rotations
First off, the big news, seasonal items will not be removed from the game once their events end. Yup, you read that right! The idea of rotating them out got a massive thumbs down from the community, so the team scratched it and came up with a brilliant alternative.
2. Introducing: Seasonal “Chests”
Here’s the core of the new plan: at the end of each season or holiday event, those themed items will be moved into their own special “chest” or closet around the map. Think of them like the ultimate storage solution—one for the Valentine’s Day Collection, one for the Winter Collection, one for Halloween, and so on.
How does it work?
Why is this genius?
3. What About Existing Items?
All the current non-seasonal items and older seasonal goodies are staying right where they are in the map—no changes there. The new “chest” system will only apply to seasonal items added in 2025 and beyond. So don’t worry, your longtime favorites aren’t going anywhere!
4. Back to the Map—Where the Fun Is
Let’s face it: some of us love to live in the dressing rooms, but that kind of defeats the purpose of exploring all the wonderful corners of the Dress to Impress world. This new system encourages us to go back out into the map, have fun, and not just stand in front of a mirror all day. Because let’s be real—clothes are best shown off when you’re strutting around the runway, not hidden away in the dressing room.
5. The Return of Code Items
Another crowd-pleaser: code items may be making a grand re-entrance with a simpler button right on the screen. If you’re like me and still hoard those special codes like they’re gold, this is music to your ears.
6. Patience, Young Fashionistas
The team is aiming to have this system up and running by the next big event. As with any big overhaul, it’ll take time to make sure it’s smooth, stable, and bug-free. So while we all want these changes yesterday, a little patience will go a long way.
Bonus: Granny Dress is Back! Oh, and did they mention they’re permanently adding the reworked granny dress in the Valentine’s update? If you’ve been missing its cozy charm in your life (like I have), it’s time to celebrate. Talk about an iconic comeback!
Tell Us What You Think
So there you have it: the newest plan from Dress to Impress to keep everyone’s closets neat, the map lag-free, and all your beloved seasonal gear just a few clicks away. Personally, I’m stoked. I’ve been wanting a way to reduce the chaos and keep my hoard of winter hats in one place—and now it’s finally happening.
Have thoughts? Drop them in the comments or ping us in the Discord. The devs are clearly listening, so don’t be shy. Let’s keep the conversation going and make Dress to Impress the runway of our dreams!
